Once you’ve opened your pack, lay your Castorvida castor oil pack, fleece side up, and add 2 – 3 tbsp of Castorvida castor oil in the middle of the pack, avoiding any seams. After each application, use less oil, 1 tbsp or less. Fold the pack in half to evenly spread the oil.

Yes, you can use your Castorvida castor oil pack if you have your
period. There is a lot of conflicting information regarding using castor oil packs when you have your period. Our advice is if your flow is lighter it is absolutely fine to use your pack. However, if you have a heavier flow, using a castor oil pack during your period may increase the flow. In this case we would recommend wearing your pack in the run up to and after your period for three consecutive months. This is likely to regulate your flow, help balance your hormones and reduce any pain associated with your period.

It will depend on how often you use your Castorvida Castor oil pack. It can last anything from 3 – 6 months. The better you care for it, the longer it will last.

oil may seep through. Our recommendation is to always wear suitable clothing and, if wearing the pack at night, to use old bedsheets or a towel to protect your bedding and/or mattress.
